Eduard Nikolaevich Artemyev (born 30 November 1937 in Novosibirsk) is a Russian composer of electronic music and film scores.

Probably best known for his music in the films by such film-makers as Andrei Tarkovsky (including Solaris, Stalker and Zerkalo), Nikita Mikhalkov (including Oblomov, Urga and Burnt by the Sun) Zeki Demirkubuz, Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Andrei Konchalovsky.

He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory as a composer. He had studied under Yuri Shaporin and Nikolai Sedelnikov.

Artemyev was awarded by numerous awards, such as Nika Award.
